How to draw a bubble letter W

1. Draw four diagonals: down, up, down, up, like two Vs side by side.
2. Outline the whole shape, rounding the two bottom tips.
3. Leave three gaps: two at the bottom between the Vs and one at the top middle.
4. Round every end and corner.

The tricky part

Like M, a W is extra wide. On a name printed at a fixed height, the W alone can take most of a Letter sheet, so check the sheet count after typing it.

Lowercase bubble w

The lowercase w is the same zigzag at x-height. Keep the middle peak lower than the two outer ones so the letter does not look like two separate vs.

Letter height here is the height of the capital, the number you would measure on the wall. The width follows from the shape of the W, which in the Bubble style is wider than it is tall. Page counts assume a 10 mm printer margin and the orientation that needs fewer sheets.

The largest W that fits on a single Letter sheet is 7 inches tall, printed landscape. For a bulletin board, 6 to 8 inches reads from the back of a classroom; for a door or a banner, 10 to 12 inches.
