Letters printing at the wrong size

Nine times out of ten this is the print dialog, not the PDF. Before you write, check that scaling is set to 100% or Actual size, not Fit to page or Shrink oversized pages. Fit to page shrinks every sheet a little, so the letters come out smaller than you chose and the joins between tiled sheets stop lining up. Also check that the paper size in the dialog matches the paper in the tray, Letter or A4.

If it is still wrong, measure one capital letter on the printout and send that measurement with the height you set, the paper size, and the printer make and model.

Reporting a bug

• The page you were on and the exact text you typed.
• The style, height, layout and paper you chose.
• The browser and device, for example Chrome on a Chromebook or Safari on an iPhone.
• What you expected, and what happened instead. A screenshot or the downloaded file helps.

We cannot see or recover anything you typed into a maker, because it never leaves your browser.

Embedding the maker

Classroom blogs, homeschool sites and party pages can put the bubble letter maker on their own pages for free. The code is on the embed page. If it does not fit your layout, email the address of your page and we will help.
