How to draw a bubble letter T

1. Pencil a stem and a crossbar across the top.
2. Outline both as one shape, rounding the ends of the crossbar and the foot.
3. Curve the two inside corners under the crossbar.
4. Ink and erase.

The tricky part

A long crossbar pushes the neighbouring letters away. Keep it no wider than the letter is tall, and tuck the next letter under it slightly when you space the word.

Lowercase bubble t

The lowercase t has a short crossbar partway down the stem and often a small hook at the foot. The crossbar should sit on the midline of lined paper.

Bubble letter T sizes and page counts

Letter height here is the height of the capital, the number you would measure on the wall. The width follows from the shape of the T, which in the Bubble style is about as wide as a typical capital. Page counts assume a 10 mm printer margin and the orientation that needs fewer sheets.

The largest T that fits on a single Letter sheet is 8 inches tall, printed portrait. For a bulletin board, 6 to 8 inches reads from the back of a classroom; for a door or a banner, 10 to 12 inches.
